It’s not every day you get an email announcing plans for a new book about Jewish veganism. But that’s exactly what happened at JVS HQ this wintery December morning.

Jacob Labendz and Rabbi Dr. Shmuly Yanklowitz [from the Shamayim V’Aretz Institute: a Jewish animal welfare organization that educates, trains leaders, and leads campaigns for the ethical treatment of animals.] are currently asking for article abstracts for a book of scholarly and professional essays on Jewish veganism.

You can find the call for papers and updated information here.

The deadline for submission is 31 January 2016. Please feel free to distribute this call widely and especially to potential contributors. Jacob and Shmuly have told me that they ‘would be very excited to have authors from the UK contribute.’ Jacob is happy to answer any questions that you may have: [email protected]
