Cauliflower Shwarma bites

Why not try these savoury cauliflower bites & drizzle them with tahini? The perfect side for a vegan Shabbat dinner.

Ingredients

The Shwarma spices

1 ½ tsps cumin
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsps tumeric
½ tsp chili powder
1 tsp sumac
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cardamom
1 ½ tsps kosher salt
½ tsp black pepper

Harissa Tahini Sauce

1/4 cup tahini
1 tbsp harissa
2 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F/220 C Prepare a foil lined or greased baking tray.

Chop the cauliflower into bite sized pieces

In a medium bowl, mix together all the spices

Put the cauliflower pieces in the bowl & coat in maple syrup & olive oil

Add the spices & mix well

Roast until golden, crispy and move around throughout cooking

While the cauliflower roasts, whisk together the harissa ingredients & add water to make it drizzle-able

Drizzle the Harissa tahini sauce over the roasted cauliflower & enjoy
