The Vegan Society just hit its 80th anniversary and it’s giving major plant power energy. Since 1944, they’ve been advocating for a kinder way to live and now more people than ever are on board. From animal rights to climate action, their work has shaped how the UK sees veganism today. To celebrate, they’ve dropped fresh stats showing more Brits are cutting meat and choosing plants. It’s not just about tofu and lentils anymore, vegan living is everywhere, from high street food spots to uni menus. Eight decades in and they’re still leading the way, loud, proud and plant based.
