More people than ever in the UK are going vegan and it’s not just a passing trend. Back in 2014, only a tiny slice of the population was fully plant based, but now around 4 percent are living this lifestyle. That’s a massive jump in just over a decade. It’s not just about cutting out meat either. People are way more clued up on how their food choices affect animals, the planet and even their own health. Supermarkets are stacked with plant based options and restaurants are catching up too. Whether it’s for ethical reasons or can’t get enough of those oat milk flat white coffees, veganism is clearly becoming a normal part of British life. Hurrah!!
