Vegan NIBs: Sainsbury’s Opens Vegan Butcher Counter

Sainsbury’s surprised shoppers last month with a pop-up vegan butcher inside one of its stores. It had vegan sausages, vegan steaks, vegan burgers, even “pulled” jackfruit. Staff gave out cooking tips and samples to help people feel more confident with plant-based meat. The supermarket says it wants to support those curious about cutting back on animal products but unsure where to start. It might not be permanent, but it’s a positive step.
