We had a fantastic time at our Shavuot garden party this year! The celebration brought together community members of all ages for an afternoon of delicious food, games, and good company.

A lovely team of volunteers prepared vegan-cheese scones, the community-made cheesecakes, and refreshing mocktails. Dana, one of our talented volunteers, contributed a delicious upside-down gluten-free pineapple cake that was a real hit.
The weather was on our side, allowing us to make full use of our beautiful garden space. We got to show off our volunteer-led vegetable growing space and enjoy outdoor games including Jenga and chess scattered throughout the garden.
The event was particularly special as it brought together people from across our community’s history. From longtime members who have been coming for 40 years, to JVS first-timers experiencing our community for the very first time.
