*Please note that this is a dog-friendly event, and there may be dogs present. Weather permitting, we may eat al fresco!

Our venue is vegan so please only bring vegan food. Please bring a dish with 5-6 portions. Homemade food is very much appreciated.

JVS will provide vegan challah and grape juice.

*Please let us know what you plan to bring from the following list so that we can coordinate and avoid getting 20 of the same thing!

– Salads, dips, crudites, olives

– Main courses (i.e quiches / pies / stews / tagine / lasagne / moussaka)

– Desserts (i.e. cakes / crumble / vegan ice cream / fruit salad / chocolates / brownies / muffins )

– Kosher, vegan wine

We will be joined by Amanda Hearst & Wilhelmina Waldman, both visiting from the US.

AMANDA HEARST is an activist and co-founder of the hybrid luxury ethical fashion retailer MAISON-DE-MODE.COM. She is also the co-founder of finn2finn Alliance, a non-profit which advocates for animal welfare and conservation, and she sits on the Advisory Board of NEST, an NGO committed to the advancement of global artisans. Hearst previously worked as a Market Editor at Marie Claire Magazine and is currently Contributing Editor at Town & Country Magazine.

WILHELMINA WALDMAN is the founder of WW Philanthropy Advisors which serves a broad range of clients, both nonprofit and individual, working in the animal welfare, plant-based, and climate change space. She was previously Vice President of Philanthropy at the ASPCA for nearly a decade. She has worked for a wide range of nonprofit and international organizations throughout her career, including the UNFPA, UN Foundation, and JCC of Manhattan. Wilhelmina currently serves on the Board of Shamayim: Jewish Animal Advocacy and is a past Board member of Bend the Arc: Jewish Social Justice. She is the proud mother of three rescue dogs and two humans.

They will be speaking about The finn2finn Alliance and their progressive mission to elevate the intersection between animal welfare and climate change/sustainability.
