This recipe for Ma’amoul features delicious date-filled cookies, perfect for a sweet treat.
2½ cups flour
½ cup coconut oil (solid but soft)
⅓ cup sugar
½ cup plant milk
1 cup mashed dates
½ tsp cinnamon
Mix flour, coconut oil, sugar, and plant milk into a soft dough.
In a bowl, combine mashed dates and cinnamon for the filling.
Form small balls of dough, flatten them, fill with date paste, seal, and shape.
Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 15 to 18 minutes.
