Kreplach are dumplings filled with a delicious mushroom and lentil mixture.
2 cups flour
¾ cup warm water
1 tbsp oil
Pinch salt
1 cup finely chopped mushrooms
½ cup cooked lentils
1 small onion, diced
Salt & pepper
Mix flour, warm water, oil, and salt; knead for 5–7 minutes.
Let dough rest for 30 minutes.
Sauté onion and mushrooms until soft.
Stir in lentils, season, and mash slightly.
Roll dough thin and cut into 3-inch squares.
Place 1 tsp filling in the center of each square; fold into triangles and seal edges.
Boil for 3–4 minutes until floating; serve in soup or pan-fry lightly.
