About This Recipe

Give this quick plant-based, spreadable cheese a try! Perfect for on a tasty pizza, lasagna or a creamy pasta sauce.

Ingredients

1.5 cups of cashews

1 tbsp of corn starch

1 tsp of melted coconut oil

1 tsp of lemon juice

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp water

3 tbsp of nutritional yeast

Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

Boil & simmer the cashews on the stove for 30 minutes

Put the cashews to a food processor & blend until smooth

Add the corn starch, coconut oil, lemon juice, olive oil, water

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Spread on top of pizza, lasagna or pasta & enjoy!
