Young JVS collaborated with Moishe House Kilburn to host a wonderful Dinner & Games Night filled with food, board games, drinks, and music. Everyone brought a fully plant-based dish to contribute to the shared meal, each one featuring a secret ingredient. This made dinner extra fun as people challenged one another to guess what was hidden inside. Dishes included cashew mac ’n’ cheese, avocado chocolate mousse, and plenty of other creative ideas.
There was a relaxed mix of games throughout the night, where attendees enjoyed Uno, Dobble, Pictionary and more. Alongside the games, people mingled, networked, and chatted, enjoying the chance to meet new faces and catch up with friends.
A group of social researchers also joined the event to run a focus group about Jewish veganism, exploring and documenting Jewish-vegan values, traditions and customs. Overall, it was a lovely night of community, friends, food and games.
