Tahini is a remarkable ingredient made from toasted ground hulled sesame seeds. It's used in Middle Eastern, Turkish, Greek, North African and Bulgarian cuisines, served as a dip on its own or as a major component of dishes including hummus, baba ghanoush and halva.
