Last autumn, Vegetarian for Life launched an inquiry through the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Vegetarianism and Veganism.
The inquiry investigates cases of individuals being fed in a way that contradicts their beliefs when they have capacity issues or cognitive losses.
Please note that this is not a JVS event.
The oral evidence session for this inquiry will now be held on Tuesday 28 January, at 14:00-15:15 (rescheduled from October 2019). It will be in The Macmillan Room, Portcullis House, SW1A 2LW. Please arrive at Portcullis House in good time ready to start the meeting at 14:00
Presenting oral evidence:
- Amanda Woodvine, Chief Executive Officer, Vegetarian for Life
- Jackie Pool, Director of Memory Care, Sunrise Senior Living
- Dr. Jeanette Rowley, Chair of the Vegan Society's International Rights Network
- Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg, Senior Rabbi, Masorti Judaism UK
Places are limited but if you would like to join us for this meeting, please RSVP directly to Tim at [email protected]. You might also consider letting your local MP know that you are attending, and invite them to come along too. Get in touch with your MP.
