Bring a dish and make some new friends! We are excited to welcome a special guest speaker, Michal Zweig.
Michal is an expat from New York who came to London to pursue an MSc in Medicinal Natural Products and Phytochemistry (that last word is a fancy way to say plant chemistry) at UCL after pursuing a BA in Chemistry at SUNY Geneseo. Presently working at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and married to a Londoner. Her other related interests include; horticulture, botany, and food science.
*Please note that this is a dog-friendly event, and there may be dogs present.
Free for JVS members / £5 to non members.
Weather permitting, we may eat al fresco in our beautiful garden.
Our venue is vegan so please only bring vegan food. Please bring a dish with 5-6 portions. Homemade food is very much appreciated.
JVS will provide vegan challah and grape juice.
*Please let us know via [email protected] what you plan to bring from the following list so that we can coordinate and avoid getting 20 of the same thing!
– Salads, dips, crudites, olives
– Main courses (i.e quiches / pies / stews / tagine / lasagne / moussaka)
– Desserts (i.e. cakes / crumble / vegan ice cream / fruit salad / chocolates / brownies / muffins )
– Kosher, vegan wine
