Sustainable cleaning brand, Wilton London has announced a national listing with grocery retailer Ocado, who will stock all 11 of the B-Corp brand’s botanical, eco-friendly and plant-based clever cleaning products.

The new listing gives the growing start-up a national grocery footprint and means that consumers across the country will be able to add Wilton London’s ethical yet worktop worthy collection of laundry care, washing up liquids, plastic free sponges and surface cleaners, to their weekly shopping basket.

The Ocado announcement comes at an exciting phase of expansion for the business that has seen them exceed strong growth targets over the past year, despite pressures from the pandemic.  The Ocado listing is expected to help Wilton London achieve their ambitious growth targets of 400% year on year growth this year.

British born and bred, the brand’s availability on Ocado adds to Wilton’s existing roster of retail listings which includes over 300 points of sale nationwide including Lakeland, Booths, Farmdrop, Holland & Barrett and Robert Dyas.  The brand’s unique range of products can also be ordered via Wilton London’s online shop and subscription service, which has seen them attract more than 8,000 digital customers.

Founded in 2018, by ethical entrepreneurs Sam Whigham and Mike Perry, Wilton London is a certified B-Corp business with a mission to make doing the chores less of a chore and more of a pleasure, for people and the planet.  Co-founder Sam Whigham took his obsession with scents and natural botanicals and combined them with the duo’s desire to create a company as a force for good and a suite of products that were cleaner in more ways than one.

Sam explains; “Wilton London was founded on clear principles to put people and planet before profit, but without compromising business growth, the product, its sensational scent and its worktop worthy design.  Our plan is to continue to bring great to use, great looking, household cleaning products to homes across the country.  We want to help people make the move to eco cleaning products easy, and the Ocado listing helps us to do that on a national level.

“It’s been a real joy to see our products on the virtual shelves of Ocado, and indeed in people’s home across the country.  Setting our business up as a B-Corp was a real ambition from the outset, so to have achieved that status in less than two years, and to see our products in Ocado’s dedicated B-Corp store has been a real ‘pinch me’ moment for us both.”

ilton London’s clever cleaning range includes products such as Cedarwood Eco Laundry Liquid (£8.95 for 1 litre), Eucalyptus Multi-Surface Cleaner Spray (£3.50 for 725ml) and Grapefruit Washing-Up Liquid (£3.25 for 500ml.)

Wilton London offers consumers an easy way to be eco-friendly and ethical in their choice of cleaning solutions, without compromising on the efficiency and effectiveness of their home care products.  Using plant-powered products and packaging, botanicals and essential oils as a safe alternative to toxic chemicals in the home, Wilton London’s products are all vegan society registered and biodegradable, making dirty work a whole lot cleaner.
