Our response to Covid-19

by
Fruit and veg in a heart shape

I wanted to write to you all to send good wishes, and to let you know about how JVS is adapting to the current situation.

For now, we have taken the decision to cancel all events for the foreseeable future, including our much-loved Seder. We know that this will come as a disappointment, however, we will continue to add useful content to our website relating to each of the chagim coming up, and will have some fantastic events for you when we reopen.

*Please scroll down to see our plans for helping those who need a bit of extra assistance at this time.

We are looking at producing some video content on our Facebook page, perhaps a cookalong and recipes videos, a Q&A – do email me ([email protected]) with ideas or requests that you have.

In the meantime I wanted to share two very useful resources, a guide to healthy storecupboard shopping from the Happy Pear, and top tips on working from home.

I will continue to send our weekly e-newsletter, with news and seasonal recipes. If you would like to join the e-newsletter list, please email us.

We really do love our community, and know that members of our community will find innovative ways to adapt. We also know that some members of our community may not have help readily available. Is this you? Can you help?

Maybe you are worried about food supplies, or company, or have the time to do some shopping or pick up the phone to self-isolating member? Please contact us via [email protected] and we will do our best to facilitate.
