JVS at Gefiltefest Jewish Food Festival, 26 June @ JW3

Gefiltefest, now in its seventh year, returns to JW3 on Sunday 26 June.

JVS is delighted to be running a session [more details coming soon], and exhibiting across a double stand in the piazza, with tasters, giveaways and competition hampers.

Enjoy more than 40 interactive sessions with top Jewish food writers, chefs and educators. Choose from demonstrations, workshops, debates, panels and kids’ sessions and experience our pop-up market place in the piazza showcasing contemporary kosher food including vegetarian caviar.

Confirmed presenters include Tomer, Head chef from Palomar, guest sous chef for the day – Emma Spitzer, Masterchef 2015 runner up, Judi Rose, Ben Tish – Chef Director of Salt Yard Restaurant Group, Sharon Lurie, the Kosher Butcher’s Wife, and Amelia Saltsman, Californian seasonal food guru and winner of Israeli MasterChef 2014, Nof Atamna Ismaeel.

All visitors will receive a programme on arrival.

Price includes access to all sessions, however once a room has reached capacity, we kindly ask you to find another session.
Participation in any of the Workshop Track sessions– 5 hands-on classes during the day – requires visitors to sign up on the day at the Help Desk situated in the lobby.
Gefiltefest is under the supervision of the Sephardi Kashrut Authority.

We welcome families to Gefiltefest. Parents must remain on site at all times. There are 5 workshops during the day for kids aged 5+, plus a rolling crafts programme. Sign up for the workshops is required and can be done on the day at the designated times and place. Details found in the programme received on entry.
